Administration rights on the computer required for installation – Centralised .MSI deployment options available.
It is recommended that no other applications are run while the simulation is running and that background processes and services are kept to a minimum.
Imparta has tested the simulations on systems with clean operating system installations and cannot account for 3rd-party software interaction or specific hardware configurations.
Please confirm that a system meets the above minimum requirements before requesting assistance from Imparta.
*Specific Service Pack is required; use of later Service Packs has not yet been tested.
Windows 7 is not currently supported due a required component no longer being included in Windows. To manually download this component directly from Microsoft, please go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969168. Note that such use is not supported or recommended by Imparta and is without warranty of any kind.
While we have successfully run the product on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0 SP6, 2000 SP4 and various
earlier service packs of XP and Vista, we do not support or warrant the product
use on those platforms due to discontinued support by Microsoft and hardware
vendors. For more information on support life cycles of Microsoft products please

Important Installation Testing Recommendations
The video drivers are the most critical element. The Dxdiag utility can be used to check if DirectX 3D acceleration is enabled, but this does not guarantee correct video driver operation. Some machines have been found to have out-of-date or defective video drivers that may cause system or simulation errors. It is highly recommened that the software is tested on computers under the supervision of someone with sufficient system rights to install new drives ahead of training use. It is also suggested that all computers used in a training session be of one or two models only were the software has been successfully and thoroughly tested on the models to be used, ahead of the session.
Deployment and Administration Rights
Subject to any applicable EULA or distribution agreement, the simulation can be run from a USB memory device or from a copy of the files (with the original relative folder structure preserved) in a folder on a user’s Windows desktop or other suitable hard drive location where there is sufficient space. Deployment or running of the simulation does not ordinarily require administration rights, but some systems may be configured to prevent some users from running software from USB memory devices or certain locations and/or to prevent copying of files to or from certain locations. It is recommended that you test ahead of any use using the rights and access that a user would have in a training session.
This simulations are usually deployed by a facilitator in a workshop. User-driven or central IT .MSI installer options are available.
